Isn't Silicone dangerous? I have heard of women being poisoned by cosmetic surgery

The term 'Silicone' is used loosely to describe many different chemical compounds (not to be confused with the element Silicon!) The highly poisonous Silica Gel which was used in construction of breast implants has absolutely nothing to do with the LFGB Silicone we use to craft our cubes. But don't just take our word for it - we strongly advise people do their own research on LFGB Silicone to fully understand it's numerous benefits to us & the planet.

Can you really bake with the containers?

Absolutely, repeatedly - from the oven to the freezer should you desire. Or vice versa.

Will the containers stain?
A
Unlike plastic containers our cubes will not stain - or scratch - or bend - or distort - or snap - or chip.

Can Silicone be recycled?
A
There are currently a number of companies recycling the ever increasing amount of waste silicone in the UK. We hope this practice will become more commonplace. Also check out the Prep3 Repurposing Ethics Pledge. Our guarantee to you that should you ever stop using your cubes & return them to us we will make sure that the most needy benefit from their re-purposing.

How do you recommend washing the cubes?

Some brand's of dishwasher can leave trace amounts of salt on the trays which over time can lead to visible deposits on the containers. For this reason, for pure ease & for energy efficiency we recommend hand washing them.

Can you use bleach on the cubes?
A
We know we keep saying this - but owing to the flexible nature of Silicone, there really isn't much that a quick soak in hot soapy water won't clean off with ease. If you really messed up and need something a little stronger then we recommend the use of cleaning/rubbing alcohol as opposed to bleach or any other harsh chemicals.

How to Return
Standard UK 14 days return policy. The return address will be on your shipping notification. Any postage costs will need to be covered by the customer. Any refunds will be issued upon receipt of returned unused goods in original packaging.
